Very recently I have enthusiastically taken up encaustic. It is a wonderful medium, and really it's the first time since I have been painting that painting makes sense to me. I feel like my drawing and painting have come together in a way that had been eluding me. I don't intend to jump ship with this medium, but it's a wonderful new tool.
