I started doing this series of work on the side, mostly because last year I was getting desperate since no one was buying my work. I'm not all that fond of these, but alot of people are, my wife in particular. At the very least they provide me with an oppurtunity in the studio to do something that's a little outside of what I normally focus on, and they give me a chance to polish up my drawing skills. I haven't really seen them going anywhere besides what they present, a diversion in the form of masquerades.
